GENERAL INFORMATION
The chinese knot is a traditional hand-made work that began in the Tang and Song Dynasties((960–1279 CE). The compilation techniques were widely circulated in the Ming Dynasty and then spread to Japan and South Korea. In Chinese culture, the double numbers are auspicious numbers, so the chinese knots are always in pair.
STYLE
- Two styles of the luck knot : a pair of tassels, a pair of tassels with a paire of fishes.
- Different patterns on the square panel : Fu Gui Fu (golden rich flower pattern) and Ji Xiang Fu (fish pattern).
