GENERAL INFORMATION

Solid leather shoes extremely comfortable, thermoplastic elastomer soles. This model is ideal for the practice of internal Chinese martial arts. This shoe is flexible and lightweight with a embroidery of a Chinese character " WU (武) "  .

武 (wǔ): this old sinogram (pictogram) represents the radical 止 "stop" under 戈 a "halberd". (The idea is that of the guardian's weapon, the pictogram has the meaning of a protective talisman at the entrance to the "house". It prevents thief and demon from entering and damaging property or the physical integrity of the inhabitants (aggression, illness).) The ideogram has taken on a more general meaning, that means "stopping the spear" which is a symbol of combat or war. Thus for the Chinese the objective of the Force or the soldier is to stop the war, this is why what they appreciate most is to win the war without combat, that is to say to avoid the war. This is the meaning that the Chinese understand of this term.
